Sedona, Arizona October, 2022
My friend, Renee, and I decided to go to Sedona, Arizona. She had been there previously and wanted to visit sites she had missed.
We started in Phoenix to visit friends there and to visit the Phoenix Botanical Gardens.
Next day we headed to Sedona. It was much cooler than Phoenix. The landscape is very mountainous and red. We were definitely not in Kansas anymore.
Next day we were greeted by a javelina hog across the street from our AirB&B. Then off to our pink jeep excursion. It was sold to us as one of the "milder" rides available. (I almost lost some teeth along the way!) The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Pictures don't do justice to the experience.

Next day, more sight seeing, walking, and shopping.
A day of sightseeing, shopping, and some of the best food and drinks. (Did I mention that we ate, drank, and shopped like professional tourists?)
It was a great trip. Beautiful weather, scenery, unforgettable food and drinks. Lots of shopping. Thankfully, only one javelina.
